The application is developed for water environment survey, based on Water Environment Soundness Index of Ministry of Environment in Japan. All people can install it on iOS, Android and/or web service.
Purpose
Participatory water environment survey for reevaluation of waterside worth.
Feature
The app is developed for water environment survey, based on “Water Environment Soundness Index (WESI) ”. WESI is developed by Ministry of Environment in Japan and constituted by five indices; Natural state, Biological diversity. Water clarity, Pleasant waterfront environment and Regional water culture.
Effect
The app is designed so that all people can conduct surveys with simple operations with fun. For example, ranking display based on the number of survey photos by "like", library function of your own survey results, etc. Other features of the app include a photo posting function to SNS and a researcher grouping function. Furthermore, the data accumulated in the app can be downloaded by requesting the administrator of the app, and the data can be used for water environment evaluation.

Accomplishments
Since its release in August 2019, the number of registered users in Japan exceeds 2,000. In addition to Japanese version, English version will be released this spring.
