JGC provides EPC services of battery energy storage system (BESS). By supplying optimal BESS, JGC helps stabilize renewable energy output, coordinate supply/demand, and support disaster preparedness.

Purpose

Battery energy storage system (BESS) allows for integration of variable renewable energy into the grid. BESS can support to store energy generated by solar power and wind power etc. and can then discharge on demand with stable frequency and matching demand load profile.
By installing BESS, customers can coordinate energy use.

Feature

JGC can provide the application of integration technologies for BESS and energy management systems (EMS), which will become indispensable as the introduction of renewable energies expands. One of the JGC's notable points is JGC can choice the suitable battery type and supplier considering the project specifications. In addition to that, JGC can optimize the design not only of BESS but also of other infrastructure plants such as solar power plant and wind power plant.
