Event Outlineⅱ
In light of the environmental challenges and infrastructure needs within the ASEAN region, MOE-J and MONRE organized the Environmental Week to bridge the gap through policy dialogues and hands-on workshops. Our goal was to create a seamless flow of bilateral cooperation from the strategic level to practical implementation.
The Japan-Vietnam Environmental Week consisted of thematic seminars on climate change and various environmental topics in Viet Nam, such as City-to-City Collaboration, Air Pollution Prevention Technologies, Waste Management, and Water Environment Technologies. The event also featured a business matching and environmental technology exhibition.

Policy Dialogue |
The conference enjoyed the participation of Mr. Takaaki Katsumata, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of the Environment, Japan, and Mr. Vo Tuan Nhan, Vice-Minister of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE), Vietnam. The event attracted 350 participants.
The event ended on a high note, following a series of productive sessions. The policy dialogues sparked dynamic and meaningful discussions, while the business matching segment created numerous networking opportunities. The event’s success has further solidified the environmental partnership between the two nations.

ⅰ The Environment Week has been held to promote Japan's environmental initiatives and technologies to the Asian market since 2018. This event was officially known as “Environmental Week” until 2020. Since 2021, its official name has been “Environment Week.”
