Overview The India-Japan Environment Week took place in New Delhi, India including thematic seminars, business matching and environmental technology exhibition.
The conference enjoyed the participation of H.E. Mr. Akihiro NISHIMURA, Minister of the Environment, Japan, and H.E. Mr. Bhupender YADAV, Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, India. The event counted 500 on-site participants and including online attendees, the total reached 700. Lively communication took place in the exhibition area, and the event concluded successfully amid great enthusiasm.

Event Outline

The Environment Week aims to promote Japan's environmental initiatives and technologies, enhance international environmental cooperation, and foster the adoption and dissemination of environmental infrastructure to contribute to environmental improvement and sustainable development in developing countries.

The India-Japan Environment Week consisted of thematic seminars on climate change and various environmental topics in India, such as decarbonization technologies, water and air pollution monitoring, waste management, marine plastic treatment, and clean energy trends. The event also featured a business matching and environmental technology exhibition.

The energetic atmosphere during the event, bustling with many participants, conveyed the high expectations for Japanese companies' technologies.
