Feature

・Drastically cut carbon dioxide emissions by industrial waste intermediate treatment that mainly recycle without incineration
・The company manufactures and sells recycled fuel oil and coal substitute fuel for cement calcination to reduce fossil fuel use and carbon dioxide emissions at its customers.

Effect

Incinerating industrial waste as it produces a lot of CO2, but Daiseki can treat it with less CO2 than incineration. For waste oil and sludge, etc., the SCOPE 3 category (5) (waste) is zero for customers who outsource their recycling to Daiseki.

Accomplishments

The company has 6 business sites in Japan with a recycling rate of 78.5% and a total recycling volume of more than 569,000 tons in FY2019. 530,000 tons of recycled fuel equivalent to CO2 is produced, contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions from energy use.
