Building a Smart Gas Network with Next-Generation High-Pressure Gas Container

Technology / Service Summary

Building a new gas supply-chain network, in other words, a virtual gas pipeline using the next-generation high-pressure gas container CubiTan®, equipped with gas absorbent "MOF" and IoT device. By utilizing this network, the civilian use of unused natural gas (methane) and the use of biomethane will be enhanced.

Purpose

Building a new supply-chain system, as stable and convenient as city gas pipeline, with a compact, lightweight and smart next-generation gas container. We aim to enhance the civilian use of unused natural gas (methane) and biomethane through this system, .

Feature

- Light, compact and smart new generation high-pressure gas container "CubiTan®"
- Gas absorbent made by newly developed material called MOF (Metal Organic Frameworks) or PCP (Porous Coordination Polymer) inside CubiTan®
- IoT device that enables remote monitoring and operation of CubiTan®

Effect

-Efficient gas supply
- Promotion of methane utilization both from natural gas and biomass
- Regional socio-economic development through energy self-sufficiency
- Suppression of GHG effects by reducing methane emissions into the atmosphere
- Reducing environmental impact globally through virtual trading of methane.
