High-concentration Slaughterhouses Wastewater Treatment Technology
Kyowa Kako Co., Ltd.
Technology / Service Summary
This technology is a combination of aeration tanks and thickening tanks using anaerobic and aerobic methods. As a result, wastewater containing high-concentration pollutants from slaughterhouses, can be treated. The company Designs, Build and Operates these plants.
Purpose
Wastewater treatment containing high concentrations of pollutants from slaughterhouses. It also suppresses the growth of filamentous bacteria and prevents bulking.
Feature
By incorporating into the treatment flow system an aeration tank and a concentration tank twice each, which are usually incorporated only once, the treated wastewater for high-concentration wastewater that contains blood and fat from slaughterhouses can be treated cleaner than usual methods. Furthermore, the combination of anaerobic and aerobic methods suppresses the growth of filamentous bacteria, prevents bulking, and at the same time produces activated sludge with good flocculation and sedimentation. Therefore, sludge management of the process becomes stable and easier.
Effect
・Treat high-concentration wastewater from slaughterhouses that meets discharge standards.
・Prevention of bulking.
・Strong cohesion and excellent sedimentation.
