As TCO transparent electrode for Thin Film PV module
On-line chemical vapor deposition process, which takes place during the float glass making process, contributes to both cost & energy saving.
And, the deposition processed at the extremely high temperature adds the great durability to the product.
In addition, the product can be optimized in accordance with a variety of different thin film PV module manufactures’ solar electrode properties for the stable and better energy output.
Through the history of TCO coated glass development & supply to the several different Cadmium telluride (CdTe) PV module manufactures in China, the enough knowledge about the relationship between the CVD coating properties and the customer’s PV module efficiency has been accumulated.
As a result, it is being proven that the customers can achieve the better PV module efficiency when using AGC TCO coated glass by more than 1% than the different TCO coated glass produced by the other manufactures in China.
And, furthermore, there is also an example that AGC TCO coated glass can contribute to the better module efficiency for Perovskite PV module, which is considered one of the promising technologies as the next generation solar photovoltaic technology, achieving the 16.7% efficiency with the 2700cm2 module. This tells that AGC TCO coated glass can also be the candidate of the promising product for the next generation solar technology provided that Panasonic reached 17.9% efficiency with the 804cm2 module in the year of 2021 according to the report published by NREL.

Several different CdTe and a-Si thin film PV module manufactures in China have been adopting AGC TCO coated glass for many years.
These modules are being used for a variety of different solar applications such as utility scale power plant, distributed roof-top solar, Building Integrated PV (BIPV), and Garden Light.
