Technology / Service Summary

We provide the consluting service regarding expansion of Resource Recovery Items through considering recycling scheme for items which are not widely recycled such as pruned branches and diaper.

Purpose

Recycling of plastic bottles, glass bottles, and cans is advancing nationwide, but recycling for items like pruning branches and disposable diapers has yet to progress.
Aiming to reduce waste generation and promote resource circulation nationwide, our company provides recycling schemes for items where recycling has not yet become widespread.
Additionally, we will explore introducing methane combined facilities that integrate combustion plants and methane gasification plants, thereby contributing to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Feature

• Pilot project of household pruned‐branches and grass‐clippings recycling
Examination of methods to boost resource recovery quantity, conducted pilot experiments, and developed future operational models

• Feasibility study on disposable‐diaper recycling
Carring out a market sounding of private recycling companies on acceptance criteria and other conditions for outsourced diaper‐recycling services
→Assessment of the possibility for local govenment to outsource such a service

• Evaluation of a waste combustion and biogas generation complex
Conducting a feasibility study of a facility co-locating waste combustion and methane gasification, with biogas from anaerobic digestion used for energy generation

Effect

By evaluating resource-recovery schemes for materials that are not yet widely recycled and assessing the introduction of waste combustion and biogas
generation complex, we help advance recycling, reduce combustion volumes, and contribute to the creation of a decarbonized, circular society.
