Technology / Service Summary

We disseminates specialized know-how for the implementation of JCM, and contribute to efficient technology transfer to partner countries.

Purpose

Promoted by the Government of Japan, JCM(=Joint Crediting Mechanism) is a bilateral offset crediting mechanism with an objective to facilitate implementation of advanced low-carbon technologies that can mitigate GHG emissions in the host countries.

Feature

We will be a representative participant of an International Consortium to submit the proposals and implement the project with the project owner to apply for the subsidy program of JCM. We will support until the project completion of carbon credit issuing through the period after the installation.

Effect

・Subsidies can be up to 50% of the project cost (to be clarify according to the equipment details)
・Identify project risks through the process and reduce them
・Possible to be recognized as the promising project, which may be appealing to the financing
・Opportunity to introduce high efficient products, which generally high-priced

Accomplishments
