Consultation Services of Wastewater / water Treatment Systems using DHS System

Technology / Service Summary

This technology has been developing by Dr. Hideki Harada, Professor Emeritus of Tohoku University (now President of DHS Technology, Inc.), Sanki Engineering Co., Ltd., Sekisui Plastics Co., Ltd., and other associates for more than 20 years. DHS system is an energy-saving, high-efficiency wastewater/water treatment technology using a trickling filter type method using a sponge media. We, NJS Co., Ltd. provide comprehensive (planning, design, bidding support, and construction supervision) consulting services related to overseas deployment and introduction of this technology, having experience of overseas ODA projects in over 90 countries worldwide.

Purpose

To apply municipal sewage treatment, organic wastewater treatment (low concentration), pretreatment of drinking water, water purification of aquaculture ponds and aquariums, and reuse of treated water

Feature

Compared with similar products, this system is easier to maintain with minimum cost, and no company in the world produces wastewater/ water treatment equipment using this method, to the extent that we know.

Effect

Electricity cost can be reduced to less than one-third of the conventional technology (activated sludge process). The amount of excess sludge generated can be reduced to less than half in the total system. The maintenance cost can be reduced to 1/3 or less, and the water quality can be achieved almost the same as that of the conventional technology.
