SAF(Sustainable Aviation Fuel) production technology from wastes

Technology / Service Summary

Using waste cooking oil and plastic waste as raw materials to produce SAF that can be used as aviation fuel will contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions.

Purpose

To produce drop-in fuel for which existing aviation engines can be used with achieving high CO2 reduction.

Feature

Various kind of wastes can be used as feedstock with hydrotreating and gasification technologies.

Effect

For example, 84% CO2 reduction is expected by using SAF from used cooking oil.
