Nomura Kohsan treats any and all sorts of mercury wastes by roasting process in order to collect mercury.
In order to collect mercury
Mercury waste is heated at a temperature of around 600℃ to 800℃ in order to evaporate the mercury. The evaporated mercury would then flow into the exhaust gas channel and would be collected in the scrubber and cooling tower.

- Southeast Asia
We have been importing and roasting mercury waste such as sludge, catalyst etc from Thailand and Indonesia, in accordance with the Basel Convention.
