Technology / Service Summary

Utilizing technology to network distributed energy resources such as solar power generation equipment with ICT/IoT, we provide services that manage and control multiple energy equipment using AI.

Purpose

We support the efficient operation of distributed power sources owned by companies. We offer it in two ways.
・As a resource aggregator, we can remotely manage and control our customers' distributed power sources and help provide balancing power to the balancing market.
・Providing a cloud service for resource aggregators to control multiple distributed power sources.

Feature

Demand forecasting technology for business establishments where distributed power sources are installed and remote control of distributed power sources are indispensable for the supply of adjustment capacity. We have achieved demand forecasting and remote control using AI-based prediction technology and IoT-based high-precision control technology.

Effect

We installed solar power generation equipment, storage batteries, and "NEC Energy Resource Aggregation Cloud Service" at the Abiko office, and opened a decarbonization verification center. We are currently verifying the effects of demand forecasting, sophistication of solar power generation forecasting, the self-consignment with renewable energy, visualization of CO2 emissions reduction, etc.
