H.H.Ms(Hazardous Heavy Metals) containment method with MgOSM(magnesium oxide-based solidifying material)

Technology / Service Summary

This technology preserves the water environment preventing the diffusion of H.H.Ms eluted from the soil contaminated with them into groundwater or surface water physically and scientifically by mixing MgOSM and contaminated soil.

Purpose

Prevention of the diffusion of H.H.Ms eluted from the soil contaminated by them into groundwater or surface water physically and scientifically with MgOSM

Feature

a) MgOSM is low-alkali material (around PH 10)
b) A large amount of soil can be treated in a short period of time at a relatively simple and low cost.
c) Demonstrates a high insolubilizing effect on soil contaminated with multiple heavy metals
d) MgOSM are available for "normal use" and "high concentration use", and are selected according to the target contaminants, concentration, combination of complex pollution
e) High buffering capacity for changes in the soil environment

Effect

a) Excellent long-term stability of effect after treating the contaminated soil
b) Soil strength does not become excessive after treating
