ZEBIA
TAKENAKA CORPORATION
Technology / Service Summary
Takenaka Corporation has developed ZEBIA (Zero Energy Building Integrated Analysis), design tool essential for ZEB projects, and fully implemented and started using ZEBIA internally since April 2023. ZEBIA significantly reduces the time required for verifying environmental performance, such as energy consumption and occupantsʼ comfort, which previously took considerable time, especially during early design stages. Moreover, the system allows us to effectively incorporate customer ZEB targets and design requests.
Purpose
The construction industry accounts for approximately one-third of Japan's CO2 emissions, and there is an urgent need to reduce CO2 emissions from building operations. Achieving ZEB requires a huge amount of design effort and an increase in construction costs, and there is a shortage of planning experts. To solve this problem, we introduced ZEBIA, a design tool that increases ZEB design efficiency, and spread ZEB. Promote.
Feature
It covers the tools necessary to achieve ZEB, such as considering maximizing the use of natural energy, concurrently considering energy reduction and pursuit of comfort. In addition, these tools are speedy, simple, and powerful, making it possible to consider customer-centered considerations.
Effect
The time needed to verify environmental performance such as energy consumption and comfort, which used to take time in the early stages of design, has been halved. In addition, projects applying this technology have achieved ZEB Ready (primary energy consumption of more than 50% compared to standard buildings). reduction) or more.
