Takino(Multifunction) Filter

Technology / Service Summary

Takino Filter is a new technology among several slope revegetation methods in Japan.
The purpose of slope revegetation is to prevent soil erosion caused by rainfall, but conventional revegetation methods prevent erosion by allowing sown plants to flourish, so they are not effective in preventing erosion until revegetation is completed. Takino Filter solves this problem and can demonstrate its erosion-prevention effect immediately after installation, making stable revegetation possible.

Prevention of erosion and revegetation of slopes caused by development activities such as road construction and land development, and by heavy rain and earthquake disasters, etc.

Takino Filter is a non-woven fabric sheet made of randomly arranged fine water-repellent fibers, similar to plant capillary roots, that can be used to cover bare slope surfaces to prevent soil erosion.
With a porosity of 97-98%, it protects the soil from all environmental changes (rainfall, wind, freezing, drought, etc.) while maintaining aeration and water permeability.

Takino Filter can contribute to the conservation of the natural environment by establishing vegetation in harmony with the surrounding natural environment, and to the prevention of global warming by absorbing and fixing CO₂ by woody plants.
