Technology / Service Summary

This technology enables global river flooding simulation. The financial impact of flood risk can be analyzed considering climate change. Also, flood depths can be predicted up to 36 hours in advance.

Purpose

It can be used for information disclosure and risk management. Especially, it can be used for future climate scenario analysis in the manufacturing industry.
It can also be used by local governments to determine evacuation orders in case of emergency, and by companies for their BCP. Necessary information can be obtained more precisely and objective decisions can be made.

Effect

Global 90m resolution simulation is possible. (20 times higher than conventional solutions)
Also, the calculation efficiency is more than 10000 times higher than conventional technology.
