High Energy Absorbing Netting System -

Technology / Service Summary

HigherNet is a lightweight, simply structured rockfall protection net.
It allows for quick construction without the need for vertical and horizontal ropes or clips on the retaining surface.
The flexible and strong high-strength wire mesh and buffer device significantly increase the shock-absorbing function of the entire retaining surface, effectively catching rockfalls.

Purpose

HIGHR NET is a "high-energy-absorbing pocket-type rockfall protection netting" that accepts rockfalls from above the slope through a large opening in the top of the netting, absorbs the energy, and guides the rockfall to the bottom of the slope to prevent damage to the road or other structures.

Feature

High energy absorbing pocket type rockfall protection system capable of handling rockfalls of up to 1400 kJ. This rockfall protection netting system offers excellent economy and can be installed in a short construction period.

Effect

The netting section that catches rockfalls is easy to maintain because there are no wire ropes or intersecting fixtures. The minimal use of wire ropes and clips allows for significant cost reductions.
