Management technology of collection, transportation and intermediate processing industrial waste, special controlled industrial waste general waste medical waste

Technology / Service Summary

Our company operates an “integrated waste treatment system” in Japan consisting of various components such as
(1)Sorting/crushing facility
(2)RPF(Refuse Paper and Plastic Fuel) production plant
(3)incineration/drying facility
(4)rubber recycling plant
(5)fluorescent lamp recycling plant

Purpose

Contribution of promotion of proper hazardous waste processing and improvement of recycling rate.

Feature

(1) Sorting/crushing facility
Collected mixed waste is roughly sorted at the selection yard. Waste is thoroughly separated from the first crushing machine to the wind separator and valuable resources are recycled. Plastic with chlorine is removed and disposed of as non-combustible waste. Plastic without chlorine is recycled as raw material of RPF.
(2) RPF(Refuse Paper and Plastic Fuel) production plant
RPF is solid fuel alternative to fossil fuel. Waste paper, waste plastic etc. are appropriately sorted and crushed, volume of each waste is adjusted to make the calorific value of RPF equal to the one of cool and them molded for production, Inspection. Inspection is performed to make sure if any hazardous substances are contained in RPF prior to delivery.
(3) Incineration/drying facility
Crushed and separated combustible waste and specially-controlled industrial waste(injection needles, gauze etc.) discarded by medical facilities(hospitals, clinic etc.) are incinerated in this facility. Hot water generated when incinerating is utilized to dry construction sludge(thermal recycle).
(4) rubber recycling plant
We recycle rubber waste except tires. Waste rubber is finely crushed and processed to rubber chips which can be reused for artificial turf.
(5) Fluorescent lamp recycling plant
Fluorescent tubes are crushed and metal caps are separated from glass. Mercury contained in fluorescent coating is detoxified. Crushed glass is recycled as raw material of glass wool and metal caps are recycled as scrap metals. They are recycled safety and quickly.

・We are certificated as an “excellent industrial waste disposer”.
Excellent industrial waste disposers are required to conform to stricter standards, such as compliance, transparency, environmental-friendly electronic manifest, financial soundness and so on. Therefore, this certification shows that our business structure is safe and secure.
We believe in making no compromise when it comes to quality. Our waste management has even taken the extra step of establishing a management system that is certified to the international standard ISO 14001.
・We also have feature of established proper operation and maintenance

Effect

・Proper detoxification treatment by incineration process
・The volume of waste is reduced by incineration, as a result our technology contributes to extend the life of the final disposal site.
・Improvement of recycling rate by our processing process.

Accomplishments

Our company collects and transports waste which is generated by factories, hospitals, construction sites. It amounts over 50,000t per year. Our company recycles waste about 40,000t of them and Our company incinerates and transfers the rest of waste in Japan. As for the accomplishments of overseas, we adopted JICA ODA Project Schemes (Partnership with the Private Sector (Proposal Based Program).
