CO2 Solid Sorbent

Technology / Service Summary

TODA KOGYO has developed the sodium ferrite (NaFeO2) as CO2 sorbents, capable of capturing CO2 in the combustion exhaust gas, and recovering CO2 by heating about 100℃. The sodium ferrite is solid state CO2 recycling material, contribute to CARBON NEUTRAL.

Purpose

CO2 Separation and Capture

Feature

① A sustainable material made of iron oxide and sodium
② Absorbs CO2 at 0-50℃ and releases it when heated to about 100℃
③ A material that does not use organic substances, has no odor, and does not deteriorate due to oxidation in the air

Effect

CO2 separation and capture from flue gas
