Johkasou (Decentralized Waste Water Management System)
FujiClean Co.,Ltd.
Technology / Service Summary
FujiClean will continue to develop and provide wastewater treatment systems with optimal performance to leave a beautiful and safe water environment for our future generations.
Purpose
The aim of this technology is to efficiently and sustainably treat domestic wastewater, thereby protecting the environment and improving water quality.
Feature
We use the biofilm method.
This method fixes microorganisms to a solid substrate to ensure stable treatment of domestic wastewater.
As it is a source-based treatment, it can be installed in a shorter time and at a lower cost than sewerage system construction,
and it is compact and low-maintenance.
Effect
It reduces water quality indicators such as BOD, T-N, and T-P to a high level, and it meets strict water quality standards.
It can be installed on-site, even in narrow spaces or places where it is difficult to lay sewer pipes.

Accomplishments
In Japan, it has been installed in over 2 million units, and it leads the industry with a market share of over 40%.
In the Philippines, it has been installed in government buildings on Bohol Island, etc.
In Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Vietnam, it was extremely difficult to install sewage systems on the islands scattered around the bay,
so Fujiclean's septic tanks were adopted as an alternative solution.
