Technology / Service Summary

At HORIBA, we offer a wide range of evaluation from electrochemical measurements, flow control test, to material evaluations starting from a cell to stack.

Purpose

To distribute fuel cell across society, it is essential to improve its performance, reliability, and durability of fuel cells, along side other varieties of evaluations. However, the performance and characteristics of a fuel cell changes depending on the materials, driving conditions and environmental conditions.
HORIBA's evaluator would adjust to various different conditions, allowing measurement, analysis and evaluation under variety of different purposes.

Feature

PEM evaluator LT test stations: PEM fuel cells and their components can be evaluated within a temperature range from -40 °C up to 250 °C and a power range between 1 W and 250 kW.
Electrolyzer Evaluator EC/ES test stations: It allows automated testing of electrolyzer from single cells to short stacks . The proprietary water knock out system includes automatic level control to avoid pressure drops and reliable separation of gas and liquid phases.
