A pyrolysis-based waste treatment technology that allows the extraction and recovery of oil, char, and metals as valuable byproducts.
Technology / Service Summary
This is a waste treatment system that uses pyrolysis technology, converting waste plastics into oil, other organic waste into char, while metals remain intact and can be reused as materials.
Purpose
As the global population continues to grow, the volume of waste generated is increasing steadily. In particular, in island nations and regions with waste accumulation sites, generated waste continues to pile up at an accelerating pace. We aim to contribute to waste volume reduction by applying our pyrolysis-based technology through our system, GOMIX, to address this challenge.
Feature
The oil and char produced through waste treatment can be used as fuel to heat the furnace of our system, enabling low-cost operation. In addition, the system does not require waste sorting, which makes operation simple and easy—another key feature of our solution.
Effect
By reducing the volume of waste at waste accumulation sites in island nations and on land, we help extend the lifespan of these sites or enable their closure, thereby contributing to a cleaner environment.
