Company Summary
Kanadevia Corporation was established in Osaka, Japan in 1881 and incorporated in 1934 as Osaka Iron Works. Since 1943, we have been active as Hitachi Zosen not only in the shipbuilding business but also in environment-related businesses.
In October 2024, we have changed the company name to Kanadevia Corporation, marking the beginning of a new chapter. We aim to forge a new way ("via") that brings harmony ("kanaderu"), just like an orchestra playing in unison, between humanity and nature.
The headquarters are located in Osaka and Tokyo. Our major business fields are engineering and manufacturing and is highly regarded worldwide, especially in the fields of Waste-to-Energy (WtE) and Water solutions.
Kanadevia is committed to tackle global environmental challenges that contribute to the sustainable development of society and aim for the long-term enhancement of our corporate value. Kanadevia group business activities have been contributing to all SDGs.
