Technology / Service Summary

O&M Support Digital Solution support the management issues in the water supply business by high-quality equipment-related technologies and IT backed of long term experience and know-how.

Purpose

Addressing the issue of how to develop safe, secure, and sustainable water utilities requires not only high-quality facilities and systems for water purification plants and sewage treatment plants, but also general optimization based on a broad spectrum of linkages between OT and IT.
In this respect, Hitachi has for many years been providing reliability-first, stability-first, and safety-first water environment solutions comprising various systems and services for water and sewage service providers—all intended to support lifelines. In particular, Hitachi has a considerable track record of delivering monitor control systems that form the core of water and sewage systems, with installations reaching about 2,100.
O&M Support Digital Solution, a cloud-based service for water and sewage services that uses IoT, represents the systemization of this extensive business track record and experience.

Feature

- Asset Management System is a solution for utilizing information that has not been managed in the past maintenance operations. This system will achieves operational visualization by integrating information such as facilities, working records, operation, malfunction and repair into one DB.

- Two-way communication with wearable devices is a solution to share the same image between the field operators and the supervisors at the remote office. This solution enables supervisors at remote office to support remote work in case of emergency, record images of the work at site, understand entire status at multiple sites at the same time and contributes to improving maintenance work more efficiently.

Effect

Identify appropriate repair time and place and allows users to prevent failures, reduce repair cost and achieve stable operation.
