Company Summary
Hamada Co., Ltd. has offices in Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo, and Aichi, and is developing its business in three main items: industrial waste business, scrap business, and solutions business. The company is working to achieve zero-emission recycling by reusing and recycling waste as a resource, rather than merely separating and disposing of it, and is particularly focused on the reuse and recycling of solar panels. Currently, we have obtained licenses at two locations in Tokyo and Kyoto, and began operations since 2017. As of May 2022, we have handled more than 150,000 solar panels (the Kyoto factory specializes in solar panel reuse and recycling).
The Ministry of the Environment has highlighted the Company as a good example of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting the use of renewable energy in 2020, and in 2021, we have obtained SBT certification.
