Flocculants for water treatment

Technology / Service Summary

Water treatment coagulant is added to contaminated water containing fluorine, boron, arsenic, phosphorus, etc. to coagulate and precipitate toxic substances and purify the water.

Purpose

Efficient treatment of difficult-to-process elements

Feature

・More effective treatment of boron and fluorine than conventional methods
・Low chemical consumption and sludge generation, resulting in a large total cost advantage.
・Easy to handle because it is in liquid form.
・Able to treat up to low concentrations (fluorine)
・Treatment is possible in the weak alkaline pH range (boron)

Effect

Less sludge is generated due to small amount of additives, which reduces running costs.

Controlled Substance

Applicable Regions / Countries

  • Japan
  • Southeast Asia
  • Central/South Asia
  • China/ East Asia
  • ASEAN countries

    Indonesia,Singapore,Thailand,Philippines,Viet Nam,Malaysia

Accomplishments

Country of delivery: Taiwan
Example: At a coal-fired power plant, waste gas scrubber effluent (desulfurization effluent) contained coal-derived boron. Boron is a difficult substance to treat, and conventional treatment methods have not been satisfactory. By switching to our flocculant for boron, we were able to achieve the target value in a stable manner.
