Company Summary

Mitsubishi Materials is a comprehensive nonferrous metal manufacturer that is the core of the Mitsubishi Group and has a history of over 150 years. In addition to its metals business, which is centered on copper mine development and smelting, the company is engaged in a wide range of businesses, including electronic and semiconductor materials, cutting tools, resource recycling, and renewable energy power generation.
In the metals business, we are proud to have the world's largest E-Scrap (printed circuit board waste, etc.) processing capacity for copper smelting. In addition, at our home appliance and automobile recycling plants, we have established a recycling system in which we precisely and efficiently dismantle and sort appliances, recover non-ferrous metals and plastics, and regenerate the non-ferrous metals into higher-quality products through the copper smelting process.
