CO2 separation and utilization ( CCUS)
HORIBA, Ltd.
Technology / Service Summary
There is a development to capture, utilize and store CO2. Known as CCUS, goal is to optimize energy management in industries. Recycling plastics by thermal and chemical recycling is such example.
Purpose
Chemical absorption method is one of the ways of absorbing CO2. This wwll known method functions through chemical reaction of liquid amine, which is known to bind CO2. So why analyze? Evaluation, and impurities. Amine is constantly repeating the absorption and separation cycle, in which the quality change over time. Analysis is beneficial when evaluating the replacement period, monitoring efficency, or its quality.
Feature
Multigas Analyzer VA-5000 series: Analyzer suited for environmental monitoring, energy development support, quality controls, and as a continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS). It can analyze up to 4 different gases with variety of options (SO₂、NOx、CO、CO₂、O₂、N₂O、NH₃ etc.) and wide measurement range in a single case.
Water Analysis (pH,electrical conductivity)H-1 System: Suitable for pH monitoring and control in various production processes, as well as wastewater treatment and other applications. It comes with a robust case, noise resitstence feature, auto calibration, among other features. We offer a wide range of electrodes and cleaning devices to accommodate a variety of samples.
Raman Spectrometer:The compact, rugged construction with no internal moving parts is perfectly adapted for process control among demanding industrial environments .A single system can obtain multiplexed information from up to 4 fiber probes simultaneously.
Effect
Pre-processing: Monitor So2 and CO2 levels during the proceess of removing sulfer with de-sulfurizer.
Absorbing/ Separation/ refining process: Monitoring various gas in the process for quality monitor and evaluating efficency. Raman and pH meters can also contribute to liquid analysis of amine.
HORIBA provides various solutions for quality control among many other solution to Carbon Neutral.
