Company Summary
Tromso manufactures and sells biochar production machines and rice husk briquetting machines, and has a track record of introducing most of them not only in Japan but also overseas, especially in African countries. In agriculture, biochar is used as a soil improvement material, and its effectiveness in improving soil water retention, adjusting pH, improving nitrogen utilization efficiency, and reducing soil pollution has been proven, and it is said to be highly effective in arid areas and soil with low pH. Biochar has excellent adsorption properties and may contribute to reducing greenhouse gasses. We have been conducting biochar farm application experiments with universities, research institutions and agricultural cooperatives both domestically and overseas. Our company business model is aimed at improving incomes of farmers by investing the carbon credits generated in their business while increasing crop yields and reducing fertilizer cost.
