Reactive nanoscale iron particles(RNIP) and remediation technology for contaminated soil and groundwater by use of RNIP

Technology / Service Summary

Our reactive nanoscale iron particles(RNIP) has an excellent remediation performance for contaminants in soil and groundwater.

Purpose

The target treatable pollutants in soil and groundwater with RNIP are volatile chlorinated organic compounds and heavy metals.

Feature

RNIP has no toxicity, rapid cleanup performance and a high mobility in soil. It is very suited for an in-situ remediation chemicals using the chemical grouting method.

Effect

Rapid in-situ cleanup of pollutants with RNIP reduces both the total cost of remediation works and carbon dioxide emissions during the works. Remediation works with RNIP can be carried out even indoors of operating factories without heavy machinery.
