Uzbekistan-Japan Environmental Business Forum

The Ministry of the Environment, Japan, in cooperation with the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, will hold the Japan–Uzbekistan Environmental Business Forum on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in the afternoon in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
 
  1. ►Following the signing a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of environmental protection between the Ministry of the Environment, Japan and the National Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan in December,2022, the both parties agreed to hold this joint seminar to explore specific countermeasure technologies and initiative to address the environmental issues  including climate change, air quality management, water pollution control, and waste management.
  2. ►This event aims to learn about environmental challenges in Uzbekistan, introduce Japanese countermeasure technologies.  Following the seminar, a networking session will be arranged to facilitate exchanges among participants from both countries.
